Introducing Terenure Enterprise Centre’s Strategic Plan 2026–2030

Terenure Enterprise Centre recently marked an important milestone with the launch of our Strategic Plan 2026–2030 — a blueprint that sets out our shared vision for the next five years and reaffirms our commitment to fostering opportunity and strengthening community as a social enterprise.

The launch event brought together staff, business members, trustees, funders, and partners, reflecting the collaborative spirit that lies at the heart of Terenure Enterprise Centre. CEO David Graham guided attendees through the plan, outlining its key goals, priorities, and ambitions, and highlighting how it will shape our work in the years ahead.

A Shared Vision for the Future

This Strategic Plan is the result of thoughtful collaboration, reflection, and engagement with our staff team, the voluntary board of trustees, business members, funding partners, and key stakeholders.

Together, we took the time to assess where we are today, celebrate our achievements, and agree on a clear and confident direction for the future. None of this work would be possible without the dedication of our voluntary board of trustees, the creativity of our team, the trust of the older people who attend our Digital & Social Programme, and the ongoing support of our funders. Each plays an essential role in the success and sustainability of Terenure Enterprise Centre as a social enterprise rooted in community.

Building on a Strong Foundation

Once home to the much-loved Classic Cinema, Terenure Enterprise Centre is now a thriving space where community and businesses coexist. As a social enterprise, we are committed to supporting both community development and local enterprise. Our Strategic Plan 2026–2030 sets out a clear framework for continuing this work — supporting the local community through the services we deliver, the spaces we provide, and the partnerships we foster.

The plan offers an honest assessment of the challenges we face, while also highlighting the many opportunities ahead. Our aim is to continue growing as a vibrant community hub, responsive to local needs and open to innovation.

Looking Ahead

As we look to the future, we do so with optimism and confidence. The coming years present exciting opportunities to innovate, to lead, and to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve. By building on our strong foundations, we are committed to ensuring that Terenure Enterprise Centre remains a driving force for community and social change.
