Green Team Assemble!

Michael, Luca, Gemma and Dave met this week to begin the journey to a more sustainable future for Terenure Enterprise Centre. Considering the building was built in 1938, it’s not going to be easy, but we’ve accepted the challenge!

New legislation has set ambitious targets, with businesses needing to reduce consumption of fossil fuels, become more energy efficient, and move towards using renewable energy.

We want to be transparent about our sustainability journey and share our action plan with you.

To achieve a 51% reduction in greenhouse gas emissions by 2030 and reach net-zero emissions by 2050, our action plan will focus on four key areas: Water, electricity, gas, and waste.

By implementing actions in these areas, we are hoping to make a substantial impact on reducing our carbon footprint and enhance our operational efficiency.

💧 Our action plan will begin with water, specifically reducing water consumption and wastage throughout the building 💧

This is going to be a community effort. Look out for future blog updates and how you can get involved!
